Well done all the Brownbacks team. What a lovely atmosphere there today. Pity about my broken collarbone and seven stitches to my ear... serves me right entirely for a dicky moment of (non-) handling. I will be back (but not for a while!!)

Had a cracking day doing Back O' Skiddaw. Just short of 40 miles and the sunburn to show for it. Catch you this week. Take it easy.

Dave Hope you heal quickly, you were doing well up to the point you came off as well! Tricky little set of jumps where you came off I saw a few people come close to coming off on that section today. Difficult to get your speed right through there too fast and you leave the ground even if you don't want to. Hope the break isn't too bad? Seemed to be a good event overall lots of positive feedback and we only needed mountain rescue to patch 4 people up!

H Tony

Thanks for the encouragement. I've ridden those jumps oodles of times now but my spd unclicked when I was in the dip before them, meaning I hit the ramp sitting down and with one foot in. I knew it was coming but had no time to act - had to just grit my teeth.

Marshalls and Mtn Rescue were just brilliant.

That's a bummer -hope it's not your carrying shoulder!
I've got some photos from yesterday - I'll post them when I get a minute -- it was a great event and I really enjoyed spectating.
Unfortunately I don't think you were the only casualty.

Hi Dave
I'll figure out soon how to use this message board!
No photos of you I'm afraid. You'll have to do a few more laps next time!
Rick.
